Operation Free Bird 2018

Adams County, CO – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the Adams County Sheriff’s Foundation are proud to announce Operation Free Bird 2018 will be held on Saturday November 17, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hyland Hills Water World.

Operation Free Bird is an event sponsored by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, the Adams County Sheriff’s Foundation and 200+ community partners that give back to those less fortunate in the areas we serve. Each family that attends the event receives everything needed for a holiday meal. During the event, the participants are afforded the opportunity to visit with several resources that include medical, dental, grooming, job services and public assistance information. NO profits or income is generated by this event.

The Adams County Sheriffs Foundation, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, provides resources for those in need with tangible assistance for the elderly, sick, grief-stricken and those facing personal hardships. The Foundation’s mission is to support and promote public safety through community partnerships that provide resources to help the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the community we serve.

As well as assisting those within our community, one of the most important things that occurs at Operation Free Bird is the opportunity for area law enforcement to build trust and connect with the citizens in Adams County.

This is the 15th Annual Operation Free Bird and we hope you will join us in making it the best one yet.
