Holly & Ivy

SSgt Caleb Brinkley is the media director for the United States Air Force Academy Concert Band and happens to play the saxophone for them as well. He has been a part of the AFA Concert Band for almost two years.

After graduating from UNC Greensboro for Music Education and Jazz Percussion, SSgt Brinkley played for a few months on the Princess Cruise ships before auditioning for the United States Air Force Academy Concert Band. He was stationed at the Travis Air Force Base for four years before transferring to Colorado Springs Air Force.

SSgt Brinkley began playing sax at the age of six and by seven knew that he wanted to pursue music. Playing with Air Force Academy has given him the chance both serve his country and pursue his dream of playing saxophone. He has toured with the rock band, Blue Steel, and has toured in Northern New Mexico and Colorado with the Falconeers Jazz Band.

In January, SSgt Caleb Brinkley will be moving off to Germany to play with the Euroband. He has found a beautiful career field that helps foster relationships all over the world, help share and promote patriotism, be able to honor Veterans, and connect with the community.
