Free Conference For Active Adults Features Keynote Rabbi Naomi Levy
DENVER, CO – Kavod Senior Life is excited to announce its fifth annual event called “L’Chaim! A Conference & Resource Day For Boomers and Beyond.”
Held on Sunday, June 10 at Temple Emanuel (51 Grape Street, Denver), the keynote speaker will be Rabbi Naomi Levy, founder of Nashuva (a spiritual community in Los Angeles) and author of Einstein and the Rabbi among other publications. Rabbi Levy will speak on “Aging through the Lens of the Soul.”
Now in its 5th year, this special one-day event offers valuable information, inspiration and support for those thriving in the second half of life. Planning partners for 2018 include JEWISHcolorado, Jewish Family Service, Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center of Denver, Shalom Park and Temple Emanuel.

L’Chaim! will run from 9:30am to 3:45pm and pre-registration is required. Guests may attend three sessions with 24 workshops to choose from, focusing on a range of topics covering physical, spiritual, legal and socio-emotional areas of interest, among others.
A kosher lunch and a resource fair with information about helpful services in the community will also be offered. The lunch hour speaker will be local Rabbi Steven Foster (Rabbi Emeritus, Temple Emanuel) who will share a message on aging.
